Let’s say that you desire to work 30 hours a week...

Suggestion: 

• Use Shift Agent to select a range of 30-50+ hours of preferred availability for the week.
  • You do this by requesting an availability update and choosing a new number of preferred hours.
  • Make sure that the times you choose across all the days actually add up to enough hours to give you the amount of hours you want.
• The more preferred availability you give your manager, the more often you will be seen as desiring to work when your manager is making the schedule!
• Ask your manager which days are harder to schedule and then make some of your preferred availability on days that are harder for them to schedule.
